Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to oversee on-site activities and deliver complex capital projects for clients in the Los Angeles area. You will coordinate with contractors, agencies, and stakeholders, lead field inspections, manage documentation, and escalate risks to project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction management experience.
• Onsite client site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction administration: RFIs, submittals, pay apps, change orders, schedule reviews, and project documentation; primary contact for contractors and agency staff.
• Lead field oversight and inspections; ensure daily reports and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate construction activities with contractors, utilities, city staff, and stakeholders.
• Enforce contract documents, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and agency standards.
• Review plans for constructability and field conditions; escalate risks to CM IV.
• Lead or participate in project coordination meetings; track actions.
• Monitor staffing, equipment usage, schedule progress; assist with payments and CM IV approvals.
• Coordinate phasing and traffic control in active public environments; document changes.
• Communicate with agency staff, contractors, utilities, residents; escalate critical issues to CM IV.
• Support multiple projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Onsite at client site: work with clients to enable delivery and strengthen relationships.
