Job summary

Vitrafy Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Field Engineer, Product & Training, to install, commission, and support our cryopreservation systems at hospitals, clinics, and labs. Expect ~65% travel and close collaboration with product, quality, and engineering teams to translate field insights into better products and training.

You will lead field service, participate in product testing, and develop training materials while ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO, and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; experience may substitute degree
• 6+ years in field service, preferably medical devices/life sciences
• Strong electromechanical, software troubleshooting, and networking skills
• Willingness to travel ~65% of time (about three weeks per month)
• Ability to create technical documentation and training materials

Responsibilities

• Field Service & Customer Support: install, commission, troubleshoot, repair cryopreservation devices; maintain strong clinician/customer relationships
• Product Development & Testing: support testing/validation, provide field feedback for improvements
• Training, Enablement & Documentation: develop/train field staff; author service docs and knowledge base
• Operational Excellence: ensure FDA/ISO compliance and maintain audit-ready records
