Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to join the HART project. You will lead field activities, review schedules and ensure materials, equipment and resources are aligned to complete work on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering or construction management background with at least six years of field experience, strong knowledge of scheduling, drawings and specifications, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or similar.
• Six or more years of construction field experience.
• Knowledge of scheduling processes and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of construction equipment, drawings, specifications and materials standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily with project crews to review the production schedule and confirm all materials, equipment and resources are readily available for production to continue on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate shop drawings, design specifications and material requirements throughout the duration of the project to ensure quality and contract specification compliance.
• Provide technical input for project work plan and scheduling.
• Identifying risk elements of production, materials, equipment or process that could negatively impact the budget or schedule; evaluate daily production, schedule and budget projections to track performance.
• Document daily activities in Company approved methods and technologies.
• Remit accurate project quantity input and controls using assigned project cost coding to ensure project financials are accurately reported.
