Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation in Honolulu, HI seeks a Field Engineer to support the HART City Center Guideway project. You will coordinate production, review drawings and specs, and ensure quality and safety across crews and subcontractors to meet project milestones.

Responsibilities include daily production review, risk assessment, cost coding, timecard oversight, and coordination with project leadership to keep work on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or similar.
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively with others.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily with project crews to review the production schedule and confirm materials and resources are available.
• Collect, analyze shop drawings, design specifications, and project data to ensure quality and contract compliance.
• Provide technical input for project work plans and scheduling; identify risk elements affecting budget or schedule.
• Evaluate daily production, schedule and budget projections to track project performance.
• Document daily activities using company methods and technologies.
• Manage project cost coding and coordinate with finance for accurate reporting.
• Review and approve timecards for all construction crews.
• Coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedule and crews as needed.
• Initiate permits and safety analyses (JHAs) to maintain a safe work environment.
