WSP USA in Antioch, California seeks a Full Time Resident Engineer to support the PMCM team across the Bay Area, Sacramento, and the Central Valley.

You will plan, review and supervise construction activities, coordinate with clients and contractors, ensure safety, and uphold professional standards on Caltrans highway and transit projects.

The ideal candidate holds a PE in California, 12+ years of relevant experience, and a valid CA driver's license; relocation is not offered for this position.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field and PE license in California.
• 12+ years of relevant experience with Resident Engineer roles.
• 5+ years as Resident Engineer on Caltrans highway projects.
• Reading and understanding contract documents; knowledge of codes and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, reviews and assigns work of subordinate field personnel.
• Reviews construction processes and layouts for projects.
• Coordinates with client and contractor supervision to resolve issues.
• Oversees materials testing activities.
• Reviews daily inspection reports and project documentation.
• Attends and may lead construction meetings with client and contractors.
• Upholds safety policies and code of conduct; adheres to policies.
