WSP in the U.S. seeks a Resident Engineer to plan and oversee construction field activities in California. You will review engineering layouts and supervise staff, ensuring tasks align with project plans and safety standards.

As the main liaison between client and contractor, you will resolve daily disputes and ensure documentation is accurate. California PE license and Caltrans highway project experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering-related field is required.
• California PE license is required.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years as Resident Engineer on Caltrans highway projects.

Responsibilities

• The Resident Engineer plans and oversees construction field activities, including reviewing engineering layouts and managing subordinate personnel.
• They act as a primary liaison between the client and contractor to resolve daily disputes and ensure project documentation is accurate.
