Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Field Engineer to analyze customer needs and integrate Valmet products into customers' systems. The role includes leading DCS project work, performing analysis, design, and testing, and ensuring documentation and quality procedures are followed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineer and/or project team member for DCS projects.
• Analyze, design, implement, test and document project applications software using Valmet tools.
• Code and/or assist in coding and testing project software.
• Execute configuration management and QA procedures on projects.
• Provide on-site customer support as needed.
• Interact with customers during project software modifications.
• Develop and/or assist in technical proposal preparation.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
