Job summary

McCownGordon Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee field operations on medium to large projects. You will train and mentor associates, apply company processes and core values, and ensure work aligns with plans, budgets, and specifications.

You will lead preconstruction planning, develop schedules, review trade scopes, support permitting, and drive safety excellence on site through daily actions and coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field required.
• 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Proven ability to schedule construction activities and manage safety on projects.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction, Project Set Up & Planning: support preconstruction and develop overall construction schedules.
• Safety: manage project safety plan, conduct site safety walk-throughs and enforce corrective actions.
• Budget & cost control: monitor budgets, labor, and material usage; manage self-perform work.
• Field management: coordinate site logistics, documentation, and weekly progress meetings.
• Leadership: coach project team and manage relationships with clients, trade partners, and associates.
