Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management or supervisory roles
• OSHA 30-Hour certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred; PMP or CM certifications preferred
• Experience managing large-scale government or industrial construction projects
• Must pass pre-hire drug screen and background check
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet physical requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities for large-scale DOE, DoD, and commercial projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality.
• Oversee all phases of construction including planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Coordinate daily work plans and resolve on-site issues between trades.
• Supervise structural steel and concrete work, aligning with project plans and timelines.
• Ensure OSHA regulations and safety protocols are consistently followed on-site.
• Monitor project progress and budget, acting as liaison between project managers, engineers, architects, and clients.
• Conduct regular on-site meetings with stakeholders to align goals and address challenges.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior superintendents and site staff.
• Drive quality control processes to meet high industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to manage costs and resource allocation.
• Lead for job site safety, schedule, and constructability coordination with program managers.
• Direct interaction with union leadership to support staffing; perform other duties as required.
