Job summary

SpaceX in College Station, TX seeks a Sr. Construction Superintendent to oversee field execution of facilities projects, coordinating with design engineers, project managers, facilities and maintenance technicians, vendors, and internal partners to deliver a world-class campus.

You will lead multiple trades, enforce safety and quality standards, manage records and inspections, and drive on-time completion while adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• 4+ years of experience leading the coordination of multiple trades on site.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R, concrete, framing, and industrial gas trades.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications and calculations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and PDF editing tools such as Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facilities projects to ensure vendors meet standards and deliver services, materials, and craftsmanship.
• Plan and direct construction activities for internal resources and subcontractors; lead coordination meetings between trades.
• Maintain records of daily logs, progress reports, and financial reports for facilities construction.
• Enforce contract expectations from subcontractors and communicate discrepancies.
• Approve work by subcontractors and handle related issues; authorize payments after inspection.
