Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Construction Superintendent for Starbase Infrastructure to lead day-to-day site management of a high-impact project. You will supervise a field team, manage schedules, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations to meet milestones.

The role requires strong site leadership, safety focus, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining cost and schedule controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of professional experience in engineering, construction management, architecture or facilities management.
• Experience leading multi-discipline field teams and coordinating with internal and external partners.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and own day-to-day site management of a fast-paced construction project.
• Manage a team dedicated to site logistics, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Plan and enforce construction site logistics to meet project goals and schedule.
• Enforce safety policies and drive a safety culture on site.
• Coordinate field operations, approvals, and contractor work across teams.
• Maintain site logistics, deliveries, inventory, and staging of materials.
• Ensure cleanliness and compliance with regulations; maintain SWPP.
• Develop and track daily logs, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with end users and facilities for building operations and maintenance.
• Travel and extended hours as project needs dictate; ensure timely procurement and contracting.
