Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Sr. Construction Superintendent to oversee the coordination and field execution of facilities construction projects.

Based in College Station, TX, you will work with design engineers, project managers, and vendors to drive projects from start to finish and deliver a world-class SpaceX campus. You will lead multiple trades, enforce contracts, manage safety, and maintain detailed records while coordinating with local officials and inspectors to ensure timely, high-quality

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• 4+ years of experience leading the coordination of multiple trades on site.
• Ability to manage safety, quality, and schedule across complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facilities projects, ensuring vendors meet standards and deliver quality workmanship.
• Direct construction activities of internal resources and subcontractors across all phases.
• Maintain daily logs, progress and financial reports for campus facilities construction.
• Enforce contract expectations and communicate discrepancies to subcontractors.
• Approve subcontractor work and authorize payments after inspections.
• Maintain safety on site, enforce OSHA requirements, and ensure inspections are passed.
• Schedule inspections, manage clean-up, and coordinate warranty repairs with subcontractors.
• Develop rapport with subcontractors, operators, and inspectors; coordinate with local officials.
