ERM is seeking a Senior Consultant, Field Lead Archaeologist to lead fieldwork and regulatory analysis across the United States, informing responsible development and environmental decisions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional archaeological experience; 4+ preferred.
• Experience as Field Lead in the Southwest.
• Eligible for state/cultural resource permits and NHPA Section 106 knowledge.
• Ability to travel across the United States up to 75%.
• Driver's license required.
• Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct archaeological surveys, testing, data recovery, and monitoring.
• Prepare technical report sections for investigations and environmental documents.
• Perform archival and desktop research to support analyses.
• Collaborate with SHPO, BLM, and other agencies.
• Support environmental permitting and compliance processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams; represent ERM to clients and agencies.
• Contribute to business development in cultural heritage services.
