Job summary

ERM seeks a Senior Consultant, Field Lead Archaeologist to lead fieldwork and regulatory analysis across the United States, informing responsible development. The role combines field and office work with travel and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements include a Master’s in Anthropology/Archaeology or related field, 3+ years (4+ preferred) of experience, and eligibility for permits. A strong focus on NHPA Section 106 is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of professional archaeology field experience; 4+ preferred.
• Experience as Field Lead in the Southwest.
• Eligibility for state permits and NHPA Section 106 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead archaeological surveys, testing, data recovery, and construction monitoring.
• Prepare technical report sections for cultural resource investigations and environmental documents.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies including SHPO and BLM.
• Support environmental permitting and compliance processes.
