Job summary

ERM seeks a Senior Consultant, Field Lead Archaeologist to lead field surveys, testing, reporting, and regulatory analyses across the United States, with emphasis in the Southwest region. This is a full‑time role requiring up to 75% field travel and strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Candidates should have a Master’s in Anthropology/Archaeology and 3+ years of relevant experience (4+ preferred), plus eligibility for federal and state cultural resource permits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field.
• 3+ years (4+ preferred) of professional experience.
• Field Lead experience in the Southwest.
• Eligible for archaeologist permits and regulatory listings.
• Knowledge of NHPA Section 106 and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct archaeological surveys, testing, data recovery, and monitoring.
• Prepare technical report sections for investigations and environmental documents.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and SHPO/BLM.
• Support permitting and environmental compliance processes.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams and represent ERM with clients.
