Job summary

Covaris, a PerkinElmer Company, seeks a Senior Field Applications Scientist (FAS) based in the U.S. with 2–3+ years of FAS experience. You will train customers, deliver product demonstrations, and partner with Sales to identify opportunities in Genomics, Proteomics, and Epigenomics workflows.

Based in Texas or Arizona, travel up to 75% is expected. You will mentor others, contribute to best practices, and support pre-sales technical engagements and post-sales service with strong communication

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in life sciences is preferred.
• Proven ability to engage customers and deliver trainings.
• Strong communication and presentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-sales customer training and technical education, including classroom and remote sessions.
• Plan and execute customer product demonstrations to support commercial goals.
• Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to advance opportunities.
• Represent Covaris at trade shows, conferences, and webinars with technical leadership.
