Job summary

The Senior Field Applications Specialist at The Fountain Group is responsible for validating new Hematology instrument installations to ensure they meet customer requirements. The role is fully remote with at least 80% travel and reports to the Technical Applications Supervisor.

You will lead onsite training, address instrument operation questions, and work closely with Tech Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with heavy emphasis on Laboratory Regulatory environment.
• Experience with validation, instrument setup and troubleshooting in a diagnostic setting.
• Willingness to travel domestically and work remotely as required.

Responsibilities

• Validate new Hematology instrument installations to meet customer requirements.
• Lead onsite training for customers on proper instrument operation.
• Troubleshoot assay and QC issues remotely and onsite; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
