Menlo Micro is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support pre‑sales activities and accelerate customer production. You will collaborate with regional sales managers and engineering teams to define product specifications and provide post‑sales support to ensure successful transitions.

The ideal candidate has extensive customer‑facing experience in semiconductors, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of customer support experience in semiconductor or related fields.
• Strong ability to communicate with customers at multiple levels across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre‑sales support and assist in formulating product specifications per customer needs.
• Prepare technical elements of proposals and define technical solution guidelines for sales.
• Support customers with evaluation kits and design simulations, and provide modification recommendations as needed.
• Troubleshoot applications and follow up with customers to generate new sales opportunities.
• Train and support the sales team with product demonstrations and technical materials.
• Review customer drawings and BOMs to ensure alignment with design guidelines and components.
