Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Livonia, MI is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer in Field Application Engineering to enable customers to design Infineon products into advanced systems. Qualifications include a B.E./B.Tech in electrical/computer engineering with 4+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with embedded systems and ARM Cortex-M

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field, plus 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel 30% locally and 15% for distance travel.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.
• Experience with embedded systems hardware debugging and hardware/software integration.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols and ARM Cortex-M cores.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the business line to develop training materials and collateral.
• Prepare demonstrations for customers and support pre-sales activities.
• Assist with customer hardware and software evaluations and lab bring-up.
• Present product overviews and guide customer architectural decisions.
• Provide ongoing post-sales support and field engineering assistance.
