Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Livonia, MI is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer in Field Application Engineering to enable customers to design Infineon products into advanced systems. You will drive demonstrations, assist with customer evaluations, and support the full sales cycle while building lasting partnerships.

Qualifications include a B.E./B.Tech in electrical/computer engineering with 4+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with embedded systems and ARM Cortex-M

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field, plus 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel 30% locally and 15% for distance travel.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.
• Experience with embedded systems hardware debugging and hardware/software integration.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols and ARM Cortex-M cores.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the business line to develop training materials and collateral.
• Prepare demonstrations for customers and support pre-sales activities.
• Assist with customer hardware and software evaluations and lab bring-up.
• Present product overviews and guide customer architectural decisions.
• Provide ongoing post-sales support and field engineering assistance.
