Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Livonia, MI seeks a Principal Engineer Field Application Engineering to collaborate with customers, turning whispers into industry-shaking solutions within our Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team. You will enable them to transform products into cutting-edge designs and build lasting partnerships that thrive on success.

You will support demonstrations, pre-sales opportunities, POC, and post-sales implementation, while reviewing client hardware designs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience.
Willingness to travel to visit local customers (30%), distance travel (15%).
Strong presentation, written communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the business line on training and collateral development.
Support the field team and the business line to prepare demonstrations.
Support customers in pre-sales qualification, POC, and post-sales implementation and support.
Present product overviews and technology demos and influence customer architecture.
Support customer hardware/software evaluations and bring-up.
Perform schematic and PCB layout reviews of customer hardware designs.
