Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Field Applications Engineer to provide on-site field support for AI Factory deployments, working with OEMs and deployment partners to resolve critical issues and ensure successful build bring-up.

The role involves traveling up to 50% to partner sites, diagnosing complex hardware and software problems across rack, server, GPU, networking, storage, firmware/BMC, Linux, cabling, and deployment tooling, and creating repeatable playbooks for future deployments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer/CS/Systems Engineering or related field.
5+ years of data center deployment, rack integration, field support, or large-scale systems troubleshooting.
Hands-on troubleshooting of servers, GPUs, switches, storage, Linux, and deployment tooling.
Experience with partner, customer, OEM, ODM, and field teams in production environments.
Strong field debugging with data collection and clear issue handoff.

Responsibilities

Deliver on-site field support for AI Factory deployments and issue triage with partners.
Serve as senior technical resource for urgent field issues across rack, GPU, networking, and related domains.
Travel to partner sites to support deployments and reduce risk.
Drive structured triage, data collection, and owner alignment for blockers.
Improve diagnostic flows and repeatable troubleshooting methods.
Document lessons learned and update guidelines and playbooks.
