Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Field Applications Engineer to provide hands-on, on-site technical support for AI Factory deployments across OEM and deployment partners. The role focuses on rapid issue triage, diagnostic flow validation, and repeatable troubleshooting to improve deployment success and time-to-resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS, or Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in data center deployment, rack integration, field support, or large-scale systems troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with servers, GPUs, switches, storage, firmware/BMC, Linux, cabling, power, thermal, or deployment tooling.
• Experience with partner, customer, OEM/ODM, or deployment services in field or production.
• Strong field troubleshooting, data collection, reproduction quality, and handoff skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct field assistance for AI Factory deployments, including first time deployments and issue triage with OEM/partners.
• Serve as a senior technical resource for urgent field issues across rack, server, GPU, networking, storage, firmware/BMC, Linux, cabling, power, and thermal domains.
• Deploy to partner or field sites to support rapid response and risk reduction.
• Drive structured triage for blockers: reproduction, data collection, domain isolation, and owner alignment.
• Improve diagnostic flows, testing practices, and repeatable troubleshooting methods to shorten resolutions.
• Assist bone-pile review and classify failures to connect field data to root cause actions.
• Capture lessons learned from deployments and update guidelines and playbooks for reuse.
• Provide concise leadership updates on status, risk, blockers, and recovery plans during active deployments.
