Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a highly technical Senior AI Compute Engineer to act as a forward-deployed technical liaison between NVIDIA’s Partner Network, internal teams, and enterprise customers. You will deploy, manage, and validate AI Compute infrastructure across Linux environments, collaborating with partners from planning through implementation to ensure scalable, high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years providing in-depth support and deployment services for hardware and software products.
• Strong Linux system administration, packaging, scheduling, kernel management, and performance tuning.
• Scripting proficiency (bash, python, ansible) and experience with schedulers such as SLURM, LSF, UGE.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to deliver resolutions for customers.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites in the United States up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and validate AI Compute/HPC infrastructure in Linux environments for customers.
• Serve as domain expert with partners during planning and execution phases.
• Create handover docs and perform knowledge transfers for customers and partners.
• Provide feedback to internal and partner teams, including bug reports and workarounds.
