Job summary

Bosch USA in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an experienced technical customer support engineer to be the first technical contact for customers, provide solutions from training materials, and assist in designing in Bosch products. You will coordinate with PAS/PAI/PAP teams, document customer needs, support sample and development kits, and help maintain strong customer relationships across engineering teams.

Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of design or application engineering with semiconductors/MEMS/ECMs.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• 5+ years in automotive electronics domain knowledge.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems including navigation, ADAS, and airbags.
• Willingness to travel nationally/internationally; may spend time in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for technical customer support and coordination; first contact for customers.
• Coordinate with PAS/PAI/PAP teams to obtain information and communicate to customer.
• Assist customers in correctly designing in Bosch products.
• Lead technical customer meetings and document engagement plans.
• Capture customer requirements and relay to Bosch teams including PM.
• Support customer quality issues during development and before SOP.
• Establish customer relationships by working with engineering teams.
• Lead pre-selling technical presentations and provide product information.
• Share application trends, innovation, market, and competition insights.
• Support local customer communications in native language.
• Coordinate PPAP and ensure technical satisfaction through design-in to production.
• Support sample warehouse coordination for components and development kits.
