Job summary

Erickson’s Flooring & Supply seeks an experienced Account Manager to join the Chicago area team. The role focuses on growing sales and profitability within an assigned territory by building strong relationships with contractor and dealer customers, creating demand for our full product offering.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in hardwood flooring or building products, and a consultative approach to selling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years outside sales experience, preferably in hardwood, flooring, or building products.
• Proven ability to communicate value propositions and close sales.
• Experience selling through a dealer or distributor network with dealer support training.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with assigned and prospective customers to generate sales.
• Identify growth opportunities within the territory and allocate resources accordingly.
• Grow share of spend across Erickson’s full product offering and related sundries.
• Provide product and sales training to dealer staff and assist with installations when needed.
• Plan and execute a personal sales strategy and monitor performance against goals.
