Job summary

ZiplyFiber is seeking a Senior Manager, Outside Plant (OSP) Construction to lead field operations and contractor teams across assigned markets. The role focuses on stand‑up of new geographies, safety, budgets, and schedule adherence to deliver homes-passed targets.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in OSP and 5+ years of leadership, with strong fiber splicing knowledge and multi-market program experience. Travel to active markets is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of OSP experience, including splicing and construction.
• Minimum of five (5) years leadership/people management experience.
• Experience managing budgets.
• Willingness to travel across active and emerging markets.
• Advanced understanding of fiber splicing and installation practices, safety and network topology.
• Experience managing multi-market or multi-state construction programs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple contractor crews in a high-production environment.
• Knowledge of permitting processes for railroad, DOT, cities, counties, and pole owners.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and scale construction operations in new geographies.
• Lead contractor crews and internal field teams to meet homes-passed targets.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and safety/quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain flow.
• Travel to active markets and manage multi-market programs.
• Mentor OSP Construction Managers and Administrators.
