Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Fiber Splicing Technician III to splice, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fiber optic networks for telecom clients. You will coordinate field activities, perform network testing, and document installations to ensure high-quality performance.

Requirements include a high school diploma (OSHA 10 required) and 3+ years in fiber optics; valid driver's license preferred. The role involves outdoor work, safety-first practices, and collaboration with teams across sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA 10 Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Splice, test, troubleshoot, repair, and activate underground and aerial fiber optic cable systems.
• Diagnose cable plant issues and perform end-of-line testing; propose solutions.
• Read splice matrices, prints, and maps to complete fiber assignments and documentation.
• Build, prepare, seal, and manage fiber cases and enclosures with color-for-color splicing.
