Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Fiber Splicer I-III to install, splice, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic networks for telecommunications infrastructure projects. You will perform aerial and underground construction, deliver reliable installations, and ensure quality aligned with customer and company standards.

Responsibilities include reading technical docs, installing cables and equipment, using OTDRs and testing tools, documenting work, and maintaining safety practices on diverse job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years of fiber optic splicing experience.
• Experience with aerial and underground telecommunications construction and fiber optic network installations.

Responsibilities

• Perform fiber optic splicing, testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and network activation for aerial and underground fiber systems.
• Read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, splice diagrams, and cut sheets to complete work accurately.
• Install fiber optic cables, passive and active equipment, enclosures, and termination panels while utilizing OTDRs, light meters, and other testing equipment.
• Complete production documentation, verify network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with company safety standards.
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs.
