Job summary

TE Connectivity in Fairview, NC (USA) is seeking an Assembly Operator V for 2nd shift to perform advanced fiber optic cable assemblies and testing. You will work with optical connectors, set up test stations, and participate in new product launches while maintaining quality and traceability.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing, with 2+ years in fiber optic assembly, strong dexterity, and ability to work in a clean room. Relocation stipend is available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience, including 2+ years in fiber optic assembly manufacturing required.
• Proficient dexterity and fine motor skills for intricate, delicate work.

Responsibilities

• Polish and test fiber optic cables and connectors.
• Assemble and package fiber optic components.
• Operate fiber router and complete over-molding process as needed.
• Support prototype and pre-release builds; assist in new product launches.
• Use calipers and gauges to measure components and ensure traceability.
