Job summary

TE Connectivity is hiring an Assembly Operator III for fiber optic cable assemblies. You will assemble, terminate, polish, and test optical fibers, working in a clean room environment and following strict quality standards.

The role requires focus, attention to detail, and teamwork, with opportunities to assist in process development and participate in NPI builds. First shift in Arden, NC; overtime may be required, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of assembly manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience in fiber optic assembly or related manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with safety, quality, delivery and productivity principles is a plus.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Polish and test fiber optic cables.
• Assemble and package fiber optic connector components as needed.
• Terminate single and multi-fiber cables.
• Operate fiber router and complete over-molding process.
• Support prototype and pre-release builds as needed.
• Inspect own work using quality standards and prints.
