Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an Assembly Operator III to assemble, terminate, and test fiber optic cables.

You will work with optical connectors, calibration tools, and precision equipment, ensuring quality and traceability of assemblies in a clean room environment. The role emphasizes strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work under schedule pressures while collaborating with team members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Minimum 1 year assembly manufacturing experience.
• 1 year fiber optic assembly manufacturing experience preferred.
• SAP Manufacturing & ISO 9001 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Polish and test fiber optic cables.
• Assemble and package fiber optic connector components as needed.
• Terminate single and multi-fiber cables.
• Operate fiber router and complete over-molding process as needed.
• Support prototype and pre-release NPI builds as needed.
• Measure components using calipers, gauges, or other measuring devices.
• Complete paperwork to maintain traceability of product.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment.
• Work in a clean room environment with required PPE.
