Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a production technician for fiber optic assemblies, ensuring quality specifications are met and performing welding, testing, and termination of fiber optic cables. The role involves operating automated equipment, collecting measurements, and routine platform maintenance with on-site training.

Second shift hours are 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Ideal candidates have 2–4+ years in manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Typically 2-4+ years of related manufacturing or process technician experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Manual dexterity for fine and precise handwork.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic production equipment for fiber optic connector manufacturing.
• Collecting measurements of fiber optic assemblies.
• Routine maintenance of a fiber optic welding platform – cleaning and adjusting.
• Offering feedback to enhance performance of fiber optic welding platform.
• Must work well with others in a collaborative environment.
• Termination of fiber optic cables.
