Job summary

TE Connectivity in Fairview, NC is seeking an Assembly Operator III to assemble and test fiber optic cable assemblies, and assist in process development. You will work in a clean room environment with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires at least 1 year of fiber optic assembly experience, eye-hand coordination, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Competitive base pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year assembly manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in fiber optic assembly manufacturing preferred.
• SAP Manufacturing and ISO 9001 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Polish and test fiber optic cables.
• Assemble and package fiber optic connector components.
• Terminate single and multi-fiber cables.
• Operate fiber router and complete over-molding process.
• Support prototype and pre-release builds.
• Measure components with calipers or gauges.
• Maintain traceability through proper paperwork.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Work in a clean room and follow safety protocols.
