Job summary

Delta Oaks Group seeks a Senior Construction Manager – Fiber to lead field execution for hyperscale, long‑haul, and FTTH/FTTx projects. Based in North Carolina with significant travel, you will convert master schedules into daily field work, drive sub‑contractor performance, and maintain safety, quality, and client satisfaction across complex fiber programs.

The role requires 10+ years in telecom fiber, 5+ years in construction leadership, and fluency with major PM platforms.

Qualifications

This role requires 10+ years in telecom/fiber construction with 5+ years in leadership.
Experience delivering large fiber programs across multiple segments is preferred.
Proven skills in cost control, scheduling, QA/QC, and client-facing execution.

Responsibilities

Own build plan, look‑ahead planning, and field execution across multiple fiber builds.
Manage subcontractors, inspectors, and field resources; review quantities and invoices.
Oversee fiber placement, splicing, testing, and turnover for long‑haul networks.
Enforce safety, QA/QC, and compliance with project plans and regulations.
Coordinate with teams across Engineering, Permitting, Environmental, and Safety.
Develop people, establish SOPs, metrics, and scalable operating procedures.
