Qualifications

Responsibilities

Evaluates criminal complaints to decide whether to prosecute.
Conducts necessary legal research and interviews witnesses.
Drafts motions, briefs, and other legal documents for trial/hearing.
Represents the State in pre-trial and trial settings; negotiates pleas when appropriate.
Manages court docket and case schedules; trains junior attorneys.
