Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Federal Project Manager to lead hydrologic and hydraulic modeling projects in Tallahassee, FL. You will oversee a team of engineers and professionals, ensuring clear communication with clients and timely delivery of complex federal projects.

The role emphasizes FEMA LOMC compliance, floodplain mapping, and coordination with federal agencies, with opportunities in plan development, cost estimating, and permitting.

Qualifications

10+ years of Water Resources project delivery experience, overseeing federal projects.
PE license in Florida.
Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and floodplain mapping.
Proficiency with ArcGIS, StormWise, and ICPR4.
Familiarity with FEMA LOMC criteria and map revisions.

Responsibilities

Lead hydrologic and hydraulic studies for floodplain management.
Perform model reviews for technical completeness and code compliance.
Review floodplain/floodway mapping for FEMA LOMC applications.
Coordinate with team members and clients on project deliverables and timelines.
Develop project proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
Manage Federal Civil / Stormwater projects.
