Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to lead our Water Resources team in Sunrise, Florida. The role focuses on guiding a team of engineers on water resources projects, prioritizing deliverables, and maintaining open communication with the client in support of their CIP program.

The candidate will engage in hydrologic & hydraulic modeling, watershed studies, floodplain mapping, and planning and design of stormwater infrastructure, including retrofits and new developments.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience delivering Water Resources projects.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida.
  • Experience with surface water modeling and floodplain mapping.
  • Proficiency with ArcGIS, StormWise, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience collaborating with government agencies at local/state levels on water management goals.
  • Experience designing stormwater infrastructure involving hydrology, hydraulics and water quality.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills; effective in planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, and review comments.
  • Coordinate frequently with team members and the client.
  • Develop project proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
  • Manage Civil / Stormwater Projects.
  • Budgeting and scheduling of projects.
  • Manage consultants working for the client.
  • Track project and program performance (budget, schedules).
  • Engage stakeholders effectively.
