Job summary

Fortress Information Security, LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager, Federal Programs to lead the technical relationship for high‑priority federal programs. This role requires deep DoD cybersecurity knowledge and a track record of delivering secure software delivery with RMF/NIST alignment.

You will work in a hybrid role across DC/MD/VA, partnering with government stakeholders and Fortress engineers to manage risk, timelines, and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret.
• 9+ years in technical account management, technical project management, or cybersecurity consulting.
• Advanced knowledge of DoD cybersecurity frameworks including RMF and applicable NIST standards.
• Experience advising ISSO/ISSM functions on risk management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship for an assigned federal program and advise on mission risk and timelines.
• Guide client alignment with RMF and NIST standards and DoD security policies.
• Define the technical approach for the program and manage Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Mentor TAM staff and coordinate with Program Manager on schedule and escalation.
• Deliver briefings and advisory documentation to government leadership.
• Identify expansion opportunities and coordinate with Capture teams.
