Job summary

Granite Construction seeks a Federal Structures Estimator to develop accurate proposals for private and public sector projects in Westminster, CO. The role entails reviewing drawings and site conditions, analyzing risks, and coordinating with field teams to ensure successful bids.

You will apply advanced estimating techniques, leverage AGTEK and Primavera, and rely on a strong civil engineering foundation. This position supports safety and quality throughout the bidding process, aligning with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
7+ years of construction estimating support or related experience.
Experience in structures, tilt-ups, concrete work, and steel erection.

Responsibilities

Develop accurate and timely proposals and estimates for private and public sector works.
Review drawings, specifications and site conditions; coordinate with field operations.
Analyze bidding risks and strategies; present estimates to senior management for bid decisions.
Communicate bid information to field teams to ensure understanding of scope and methods.
Develop and maintain relationships to increase regional bid opportunities.
Comply with safety programs and Granite Code of Conduct.
