Job summary

Granite Construction seeks an experienced estimator to develop accurate proposals for private and public sector projects. You will review drawings, specifications, and site conditions, coordinating with field operations to ensure timely, competitive bids.

With 7+ years in construction estimating and leadership experience, you will analyze risks, leverage cost history, and drive high-quality estimates. Strong software skills in AGTEK, Primavera, and standard Estimating tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience.
• Minimum 7+ years in construction estimating support or related fields.
• 4+ years estimating experience; federal experience preferred.
• Experience leading a team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate proposals and estimates for private and public sector projects.
• Review drawings, specs, and site conditions; coordinate with field ops.
• Analyze bid risks and strategies with senior management.
• Ensure data accuracy in take-offs and cost history.
• Communicate bid information to field operations during pre-construction meetings.
• Build and maintain regional bid opportunities and relationships.
