F5 Networks is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our sales organization. The SE will support the sales team with deep technical skills and knowledge of F5 solutions for federal civilian agency customers.
You will design solutions, deliver presentations and proof-of-concepts, and mentor the sales team on the value of F5 offerings. In this role you’ll articulate product strategy, drive opportunities, and collaborate with internal engineers and the Account Manager to close deals.

The Sr Solutions Engineer (SE) is a sales and technical role with focus on customer/partners and is part of the sales organization. The SE’s primary responsibility is to support the sales team with technical skills and provide technical knowledge around F5 solutions to our customers. To be effective, an SE needs to have excellent technical skills and knowledge on both F5 products and the “eco-system” that we work in. Fear not, we do provide training and certification to keep abreast with these critical skills! The high-level objective is to achieve the allocated sales target and selling relevant F5 solutions and products to the Federal Civilian Agencies, in partnership with the Sales Director..
The annual base pay for this position is: $163,400.00 - $245,000.00 F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Employees within 30 commutable miles of an F5 office are required to work from the office a minimum of 30 business days per quarter.
Primarily work from designated home location but can come into an F5 office to work or travel to an offsite location as needed.
