KPMG LLP is seeking a Lead Specialist to join the Federal Advisory practice in the Washington, DC area. The role focuses on designing secure, multi-cloud and hybrid environments in alignment with Zero Trust, RMF, CMMC, and FedRAMP standards.

You will mentor a team of cybersecurity and cloud engineers while engaging with senior federal clients. The qualified candidate will have 5+ years in systems engineering or cybersecurity, strong ICAM and Azure Government experience, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

5+ years in systems engineering, cybersecurity, or enterprise architecture.
U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred.
Experience with ICAM solutions and government Azure environments.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and deployment of secure, multi-cloud and hybrid environments per Zero Trust principles.
Provide SME on NIST RMF, CMMC, and FedRAMP ensuring secure-by-design solutions.
Build, mentor, and lead a team of cybersecurity and cloud engineers.
Provide hands-on technical guidance across core infrastructure domains.
Architect and implement secure enterprise networking, virtualization, and containerization strategies.
Interface with senior federal clients to translate mission requirements into robust solutions.
Articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
