Job summary

Charles F. Day & Associates, LLC (CFDay) seeks a Proposal Specialist to lead the development of competitive federal proposals, review solicitation requirements, and own assigned sections through finalization.

This hands-on role requires collaborating with subject matter experts, program personnel, recruiters, and other contributors, drafting content, maintaining compliance, and guiding proposals from outline to production in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of federal proposal experience.
• Experience drafting content beyond administrative support.
• Ability to gather information from subject matter experts and convert it into clear content.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
• Proficiency with Word and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Review federal RFPs and evaluation criteria.
• Develop compliant proposal outlines and compliance matrices.
• Draft technical, management, staffing, past performance, and other sections.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and program personnel to gather information.
• Translate information into clear, responsive proposal content.
• Develop content that addresses requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Edit for clarity, consistency, and compliance.
• Incorporate review comments and support final production.
• Tailor resumes, staffing matrices, and letters of commitment.
• Maintain proposal content and supporting docs in SharePoint.
