Job summary

The Building People, LLC is seeking a Program Manager to lead a Mission Support Services program, partnering with senior federal leaders to drive strategy and execution. The role requires extensive federal government experience and proven PM capabilities across multiple locations, including Billings, MT; Huron, SD; Fort Peck, MT; and Bismarck, ND.

You will delegate work, train teams, manage recruitment, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships

Qualifications

At least 10 years of federal government or federal partner experience.
More than 5 years in project management, program management and personnel management.
Experience directing onsite government support teams across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Delegate work, mentor teams, ensure quality within contract timeframes.
Serve as the primary interface between government personnel and work teams.
Coordinate departments to meet specifications, budgets, and timelines.
Regularly update customers/clients on program status and issues.
Manage recruitment and staff oversight for the project.
Coordinate with staff and subcontractors to align schedules and resolve problems.
Inform customers regularly about program progress and risks.
Forecast delays and develop alternative plans.
Demonstrate project profitability awareness and financial acumen.
Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust and expertise.
