Job summary

The Building People is seeking a Senior Program Manager in the Washington, DC area to oversee multi-project contract support for a federal client. You will organize, direct, and coordinate activities, ensuring deliverables meet scope, budget, and schedule.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and at least ten years of supervisory experience, with strong communication, leadership, and DOE contract familiarity. Telework may be adjusted per client needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the operation of departments to confirm programs meet specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Minimize delays in delivery and communicate with customers regularly.
• Responsible for all recruiting and hiring for the project as well as staff management.
• Coordinate meetings with staff and subcontractors to confirm program schedules and discuss problems.
• Ensure customers are regularly informed of program status and potential issues.
• Forecasts potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans.
• Ensure on-time delivery of all project deliverables.
• Participates in business development activities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
