Job summary

MSAG is seeking a resilient, high-EQ Program Manager to lead a critical federal contract in Washington, DC, rebuilding customer trust and guiding a specialized engineering team.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of federal program management, U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a public trust, and active PMP/PfMP/PgMP certifications.

You will establish radical transparency with stakeholders, align scope with contract deliverables, manage risks, mentor staff, and drive execution excellence.

Qualifications

• Residency & Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science.
• Certifications: PMP, PfMP, PgMP or equivalent program management credentials.
• Experience: 15+ years in federal technical program management with crisis/change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder alignment and ensure transparent reporting to customer leadership.
• Clarify, align, and manage contract scope to address core customer pain points.
• Identify risks early and drive root-cause problem solving with timely resolution.
• Lead, mentor, and realign a dedicated engineering team with MSAG standards.
• Develop monthly PMRs and present them to MSAG and customer representatives.
• Maintain scope discipline while pursuing opportunities for value-added growth.
