Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a senior Program Manager to lead multiple complex software development initiatives for government contracts in the Washington, DC area.

The role requires 10+ years in .NET development and 7+ years of cross-functional team leadership, with strong experience in program, financial, and portfolio management, Agile, and DevOps practices. US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred for Program Manager
• 10+ years of experience in .NET software development
• 7+ years of managing multiple technical cross functional teams
• 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Financial Management, Portfolio Management, Project Management, Agile Practices, DevOps, Business Process Analysis or Organizational Change Management

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective change control and configuration management
• Analyze complex multi-task projects, assess risk and recommend solutions
• Identify and use architectural standards for software applications across portfolios
• Prepare detailed project plans with resources, effort and budgets
• Lead and manage contractor teams across locations and provide program direction
• Manage contractor interfaces with senior customer levels
• Consult with customer and contractor to plan and review tasks and deliverables
• Establish technical and financial reports to show progress to management and customers
