Job summary

AeroVironment is looking for a Sr. Pricing Analyst to develop and execute cost and pricing strategies for federal proposals and contracts. You will prepare compliant pricing submissions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide data-driven insights for bid decisions.

Responsibilities include modeling labor and material costs, ensuring audit-ready documentation, and mentoring junior analysts in estimating methodologies. Must have strong Excel skills and federal contracting know-how.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of pricing/estimating experience in federal contracting.
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and government proposal processes.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with pricing tools such as ProPricer.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Proposal Pricing Support: Develop detailed pricing models for proposals, task orders, and contract modifications. Collaborate with the Estimating Lead on BOEs and review of cost estimates.
• Compliance & Analysis: Ensure pricing submissions comply with FAR/DFARS, CAS, DCAA/DCMA guidelines, and internal policies. Perform sensitivity analyses and risk assessments.
• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain cost models incorporating direct labor, indirect rates, escalation, and subcontractor inputs; support price-to-win analysis.
• Collaboration: Work with capture, contracts, program management, and finance teams; prepare pricing packages and presentations; mentor junior pricing analysts.
