Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Principal Pre Sales Architect for federal government accounts. This remote role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and offers a salary range of $180,000-$250,000 per year.

You will design complex technology solutions across cloud, on-prem, and third-party tech, partnering with sales to align requirements and drive opportunities. The position involves weekly visits to DC, up to 20% travel, generous PTO, and top-tier benefits.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph.
• BS in a related field required.
• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering/support and systems administration experience.
• 5+ years of work with AI, cloud software (open source, containers, virtualization, system management) and hardware (server, storage, networking).
• Experience with VMware virtualization stack (ESXi, vCenter, NSX) and containerized workloads.
• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Federal or DoD customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of complex technology solutions for Federal Government customers.
• Align a broad portfolio of hardware, software, cloud, services, and third-party tech to requirements.
• Partner with sales and account teams to assess environments and develop future-state architectures.
• Present strategic recommendations and support opportunities through closure.
• Mentor teams and partners, providing insights on customer needs and market trends.
